Description | Infinity 08H chandelier by Atelier Alain Ellouz Collection Infinity Atelier Alain Ellouz Dimensions: 30.7" x 55.8" x 13.7" Materials: Alabaster Designed with eight quarter circles, the Infinity 08H chandelier features a generous volume sculpted into the symbol of infinity. Suspended by three slender, leather ropes, Infinity 08H is truly magnetic. The initial pieces in this series are pendant lights. With no start or finish, they unfold into the surrounding space offering graceful contours and striking volumes structured by a strict symmetry. An ode to mathematical poetry. In May 2019, Infinity 08 V won first prize at the New York Design Awards in the architectural lighting design category. The combined talents of designers Marion Biais-Sauvêtre and Alexis Jouvin have given life to Alain Ellouz’ ambitious project, revolutionizing the previously existing collections of lights into must-have luminaires. By creating clean original lines, seamlessly integrating sophisticated techniques and continuously innovating, Atelier Alain Ellouz has never lost sight of its objective: the pursuit of perfection. The result of this shared work is a dazzling collection of alabaster and crystal. These creations of the 2017 Collection are in keeping with works of art that focus on greater freedom and flexibility of shape and light. Atelier Alain Ellouz is an exceptional creative arts workshop. Opened in Paris in 2005, it brings together in one space a workshop, design centre and showroom. It exports 85% of its production around the world, with showrooms in London and New York. True artisans of stone, the designers and craftsmen work with two magnificent materials, alabaster and rock crystal whose rich intensity and depth of colour inspire their quest for sleek design. Atelier Alain Ellouz combines design, innovation, research, and know-how in a studio dedicated to successfully implementing our clients’ projects. The light fixtures of the Workshop showcase a vocabulary of contemporary forms. Modular, limitless in composition, dimension and design, they can create an infinite number of models. Precise and simple designs, elegant shapes, harmonious proportions add to the beauty of the stone. Each light fixture is a jewel, as refined as a true work of art.
