Mid-Century Modern Translucent Handblown Murano Pendant by Barovier e Toso

Description
This elegant Mid-Century Modern chandelier was realized by the celebrated maker Barovier e Toso in Murano, Italy, circa 1950. It features a circular form with a rich texture resembling frozen water, a conical finial and a raised sinuously curved embellishment circumscribing the border of the shade. The chandelier attaches to the ceiling via a polished chrome rod and canopy. With its clean modernist lines, a monochromatic palette and beautiful glass quality, this piece is as versatile as it is elegant, blending perfectly with any style of interior from traditional to contemporary. It is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. The chandelier accommodates two candelabra based bulbs offering up to 120 watts of light.
