The ethereal blue glazed pear-shaped lamp depicting two joyful smiling women with flowing tresses. A superb example of mid century studio design. A unique piece in great condition and ready to add to your collection.

The artist Charles Sucsan was born in Paris in 1932 to Hungarian parents and studied art there and in Montreal. Ceramist, sculptor, and painter, he is known for his large scale public murals and his decorative objects in ceramics working throughout the 1960s and 1970s. His work is in the collection of the Musée du Haut-Richelieu, Quebec.
