1940 Barovier Italian Art Deco Crystal Clear Murano Glass Basket Chandelier

Description
A very elegant antique design by Ercole Barovier, Venetian Art Deco chandelier of exquisite craftsmanship in blown Murano glass, superb original condition. The open bowl containing the light is surrounded by a twisted rope support embellished by two raised side leaves with scroll and by a folded leaf on nickel at the bottom, the central pole decorated with glass rounded elements.
The high quality crystal clear Murano glass is worked with the technique "torciglione" that gives a precious texture to the basket shape and multiplies reflections.
