    An Anglepoise desk lamp by Herbert Terry, designed by George Cawardine in the 1930s in the UK. This piece dates from the 1950s and is presented in an industrial style i.e. with polished metal. Wiring has been renewed as is the chrome bulb holder which has the switch built in. Very good vintage condition. Wired for European use. This model has the desirable rolled edge to the shade. The connecting metal parts (more recent lamps have plastic parts) are chromed and are in good condition. Made mostly from aluminum and steel with a heavy base to ensure stability. Measures: Base is 15 x 15 cm, height with full extension: 85 cm, height for normal use, circa 75cm.
