Model 597 Table lamp by Gianfranco Frattini for Arteluce.
Gianfranco Frattini designed this innovative table lamp for Arteluce in 1961, it was then manufactured in Italy, circa 1970's.
Rayon fringe, aluminium, original EU cord.
Retains manufacturer's original label.
A central conical shaped base holds multiple light bulbs which are behind a curtain of rayon. The decorative element of the fringe is a hint to the traditional lampshade. On top sits another light bulb inside the crater-shaped form. -
