    Very rare and iconic Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce brass chandelier. Originally designed circa 1939 with manufacturing execution in 1953 after Sarfatti opened his own company, Arteluce.

    Known as 'Fuoco d'artificio,' or "fireworks," the chandelier was model 2003 in original sketching.

    After the satellite Sputnik was sent into space in 1957, the chandelier changed moniker due to its heavy resemblance to the spacecraft.

    Beautifully patinated brass structure, there are 24 points of light on a 12 u-shape arm system. Includes a brass drop bar and canopy to conceal wiring into ceiling.

    Excellent original condition with re-wiring EU-US available upon request.
