Description A most magnificent Mid-Century Modern sculptural and layered Martz ceramic floor lamp with decorative brass accents and walnut shelf and base. Hand carved multidimensional glazed rings of hand painted blue and white hues give the floor lamp a sense of movement - like water or blue ribbons. Gray sections feature the white speckle ceramic technique and have thin evenly carved rings throughout. Brass parts were restored and re-plated in brass then lacquered to maintain shine and polish. The newly made custom lamp shade is of bamboo and complimented with Kelly Wearstler for Ground Works accent trim. Easily swap the lamp shade to a neutral to soften the Mid Century vibe. This work of art is mid century but certainly versatile. Works great in mid century styles of decor, but also in contemporary or more eclectic settings. Only one of its kind currently available globally.
