-
Description
Greta Magnusson Grossman 'Cobra' floor lamp in anthracite grey. Designed in 1950 by Grossman, this is an authorized re-edition by GUBI of Denmark who meticulously reproduces her work with scrupulous attention to detail and materials that are faithful to the original specifications. The Cobra lamp gets its name from the distinctive shape of its shade, which suggests the elegant lines of a Cobra. The Cobra won the Good Design Award in 1950 and was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art. A highly adjustable multipurpose lamp, it's tubular flexible arm can be adjusted in all directions and the shade rotates 360 degrees. The base is covered in powder-coated aluminium and weighted with a cast iron ballast.
