Description Beautiful high-end bubble wall lights or flushmounts by Helena Tynell for Glashütte Limburg, Germany, 1960s. Illuminates beautifully.
Made of glossy amber colored glass with a brass colored base. A design Classic, the hand blown amber toned glass gives a wonderful warm glow.

Please notice that the price is for one piece. They will be sold individually as pair or as a set. Can work as impressive wall lights or ceiling lights.

Heavy quality and in very good vintage condition. Cleaned, re-wired and ready to use
the light requires one single E27 screw fit light bulb (60Watt max.) We offer more from the same model series (see last images).

Helena Tynell is a Finnish glass and ceramics designer. She was a student at the School of the Arts in Helsinki between 1943-1946. She was one of the most influential designers in the Finnish glass company Riihimäki Lasi. Her work has been exhibited from 1954-1960 m (12 editions) at the Triennale in Milan, Zurich, Amsterdam and London. She has worked as a freelance designer for Flygsfors glassworks, BEGA Leuchten, Glashütte Limburg and Fostoria Glass.
