n 1962, when the vogue for American and Italian design set the tone in decoration, Henri Mathie put his enthusiasm as a young industrialist and the know-how of his company at the service of this general movement by designing this collection.
It is the era of kineticism and optical games that he imagines in full light.
Henri Mathieu invented a line of lighting fixtures whose poetic source starts from the chimney caps made of galvanized sheet metal, the functional form inspiring him a new stylistic grammar that is particularly modern and seductive. The lightness and flexibility of aluminum allows him to create inspired shapes that have nothing to envy the recognized design of the time.
