Description
Scoop aluminium wall light by Henry Wilson
Scoop wall light is sand cast in aluminium. Openings on the top and bottom of the sconce allow light to wash up and down the walls, while the slot at the front projects light outwards while hiding the bulbs from view. Utilising a dual bulb holder which will suit any E26/E27 bulbs. Each piece is hand finished and can be mounted to any surface using a discrete plate.
Scoop wall light is manufactured in small batches, meaning slight variations will occur from piece to piece. Production marks may include slight pour ripples or surface pitting.
It will arrive with a bright finish but will oxidise and darken over time to reveal a distinctive patina. Simply use a metal polish to restore a like-new finish.
Henry Wilson's work combines a rational, democratic utility with an element of sculptural expression. There is a clear form and function in our products, but it’s important they also have feeling. We are interested in the awkward beauty that comes from something made by hand. We like to explore how imperfection can be introduced into an Industrial process, to make something at scale that retains a sense of individual charm.
