Pair Large Solid Art Glass Table Lamps "Arkipelago" by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala 1950´s.
A pair, very rare and heavy art glass table lamps, “Arkipelago” designed by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala, Finland in the mid 1950´s. The lamp is made like a iceblock and is just amazing with all the features of the glass, please see close ups. The measurements of the lamp are 52 cm in height and the base of the shade is 33 cm.
The lamp comes with a standard US electrical plug and also the lamp holder is for US standard bulbs, if sold to Us, otherwise EU standard.
The shades pictured, are made of cardboard coated cotton, and as seen we have taken pictures of two different colours, just for you to get a nice picture how it could look. -
