Danish Royal 7 Midcentury Tenera Table Lamp by Ingelise Koefoed for Fog & Mørup
Tall and impressive table lamp with very decorative bold design by Danish artist Inge-Lise Koefoed. The lamp was produced in collaboration of Royal Copenhagen with the Danish lamp manufacturer Fog & Mørup. The model no. is E 7167/ Royal 7 from the famous Tenera series.
Inge-Lise Kofoed was an artist at Royal Copenhagen's faience and stoneware department under Nils Thorsson. She was one of the artists behind the well-known stoneware and faience series from the 60s and 70s. She was one of six young female artists from Denmark, Norway and Sweden who Nils Thorsson brought into the faience department in 1958 to create a whole new style that came to prominence throughout the 60s and 70s. Inge-Lise Kofoed was educated at the Arts and Crafts School in Copenhagen 1956-1960.
