Pair of Mid-Century Modern Glass Sconces in a Smoked Quartz Hue by J.T. Kalmar
-
Description
This sophisticated pair of Mid-Century Modern sconces were realized by the esteemed lighting atelier, J.T. Kalmar, circa 1970. They feature three staggered handblown shades with rounded edges and a curvilinear design in relief that artfully conceal the bulbs within. Exposed cylindrical brass rivets secure each glass shade. Each sconce accommodates three candelabra based bulbs providing up to 180 watts each. With their organic form and palate, and refined European midcentury sensibility, these sconces are as versatile as they are aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition.
