Description
A Modernist/Art Deco Table Lamp by Maison Desny.
Nickel plated bronze and dark green glass disks. Stamp « Desny Paris Made in France déposé » under the base.
Circa 1930.
Very good condition.
Maison Desny was a famous modernist luxury design workshop created by Clément Nauny which operated in the late 1920’s/early 1930’s. Lamps were among their best selling pieces.
Wired for European use (period wiring – which will have to be replaced for safety reason- with bakelite switch and socket).
