Midcentury Ebonized Walnut, Brass and Opaline Glass Chandelier by Lightolier
-
Description
This elegant and sophisticated Mid-Century Modern chandelier was realized by the esteemed American lighting atelier Lightolier circa 1960. It features six curved rectangular slats in ebonized walnut attach to a domed finial on bottom and a cylindrical stem on top via cylindrical supports, all realized in brass. In the center of the fixture attached to the cylindrical stem and surrounded by the ebonized walnut slats is an incandescent opaline shade. With its beautiful contrast of materials and clean modernist lines, this chandelier would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
