Vintage Poul Henningsen, a 'PH 5' ceiling light from Louis Poulsen, Denmark.
The PH 5-4.5 Pendant from Louis Poulsen offers a sleek and straightforward design, perfect for contemporary dining rooms, living rooms, kitchens, and more. Danish designer Poul Henningsen--born to the famous actress Agnes Henningsen--crafted this trumpet-shaped piece to provide layers of illumination, primarily directing the light downward. Although the strongest light shines directly below the product, sufficient illumination spreads throughout the room as well. A blue glare ring and reflector base prevent the product from emitting unsightly glares.

From the classic icons of the 1920s to more recent pieces, all Louis Poulsen lighting is created based on a deep-felt respect for architecture, understanding the emotional effect of lighting and the belief that shadow is just as aesthetically important as light.
