A rare Maison Bague?s gilt wall sconce with frosted glass chinoiserie oriental figure Paris, 1950s

This Rococo style sconce is decorated with delicate gilt metal leaves and crystal droplets.

From the frosted rock crystal vase-form emanate 2 scrolled arms, each adorned with Murano glass leaves and frosted glass flowers. Fitted with a removable frosted glass chinoiserie figure, an oriental gentleman. The figure has a brass banded base and sits inside the sconce. The light takes 2 x E14 bulbs, the faux candle holders sit inside frosted glass cups

Measures: 41cm height, 34cm width, 15cm depth

This is a rare and beautiful antique sconce

None of the lighting will require rewiring for use in the USA.

All of our lighting is wired and ready for use in the USA. For ceiling and wall lights you would just need to use the suitable USA 120V lightbulbs.

For all Table and Floor lamps, you would simply need to fit a USA standard electrical plug or use a USA adapter. You would also need to use the suitable USA 120V lightbulbs.
