A rare '2259/2' model ceiling pendant designed by Max Ingrand for the prestigious Italian glass manufacturer, Fontana Arte, c.1960. This beautiful ceiling light consists of a double pair of thick cut 'teardrop' shaped glass diffusers, each with an egg-shaped frosted glass cut-out that part conceals the bulb holder. Each pair of glass diffusers is suspended by a nickel-plated brass rod in varying lengths. The simplicity and elegance of this piece make this one of Ingrand's most sought after designs.
