Midcentury Organic Modern Smoked Clear & Textured Three Globe Chrome Chandelier

Description
About This elegant and understated Mid-Century Modern chandelier was realized in Germany, circa 1970. It features three subtly smoked translucent orbs with a concentric curvilinear pattern resembling ripples on the surface of water. Three curved arms connect to the spherical shades at their top, and continue downwards tracing the curve at the back of each orbital form. These lustrous chrome arms attach to a cylindrical body, adorned with a finial of the same shape at its base. With its clean modernist lines and beautiful glass quality, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically striking, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards, and accommodates three candelabra based bulbs offering up to 180 watts of light. The overall height of the fixture can be adjusted to suit. Excellent vintage condition.
