1950s Paavo Tynell 9459 wall light for Taito Oy. This rare and exceptionally refined wall light is executed in a rich and attractively patinated brass with a black enameled metal shade. Signed with impressed manufacturer's mark to shade of each example, Finland, circa 1950. Shade can be adjusted up and down and brass stem can be moved side to side as well as raised and lowered.
