Description These candlestick lamps are the perfect touch of elegance in any room -- on consoles, sideboards, commodes, or mantels. The pair of Rococo Revival sticks are made of red marble overlaid with hand-cast gilt bronze fittings and ornament. Originally intended for candles, they were fitted as lamps for electricity in the 1920's, probably while still in France. They have a stepped base with grapevine ornament spiraling around the column, terminating at the top in a Corinthian capital. They are fitted for candelabra-base bulbs and have clip-on shades. On/off switches on wires.
Styles / Movements Belle Epoque, Louis XVI, Rococo
