This elegant modernist pendant was handblown in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features a billowing, sinuously curved shade that recedes to a tapered neck and also towards in circular mouth. The shade in a sumptuous cream hue is replete with a wealth of 24kt gold murines imbuing the piece with a subtle dynamism and testifying the mastery of craftsmanship inherent in the glass blowing technique. The shade is secured to the volumetric circular canopy via a cylindrical rod all in antiqued brass, which provides a beautiful material and tonal counterpoint to the glass. With its impeccable construction and clean modernist lines, this pendant would be a winning addition to any style of interior from traditional to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
