Pair of Machine Age Art Deco Skyscraper Milk Glass Pendants with Nickel Fittings
-
Description
This refined pair of Art Deco Machine Age skyscraper style pendants were realized in the United States circa 1935. They feature channeled opaque white milk glass bodies; beaded translucent glass skyscraper style shades attached to the body of the chandelier via an oil rubbed bronze ringed support. The pendants attach to the ceiling via polished nickel cylindrical stems that attach to concentric ringed canopies in the same material. With its iconically art deco sensibility and clean modernist lines, this pair of pendants would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
American, circa 1935
