Description

The Dutch company RAAK has a large cult following amongst collectors and interior designers producing clean and timeless modern designs. Founded in 1954 by C O Lockhorn, Raak means ‘to hit’ in Dutch, Lockhorn seeking to ‘hit the nail on the head’ with Raak’s designs.

The Octavo light, model C-1542, is simple in form – like a stripped back classical sconce. In 1980 it won the iF product design award in Germany. The lamps can be mounted up or downwards. In good vintage condition. Re-wired to UK standards, ready to install.
