Description
A beautiful set of four carved and gilt two-arm sconces from 19th century France. These outstanding fixtures have wonderfully carved details – done with Empirical and Louis XVI influences – which have been finished in lustrous gold gilt. Each sconce’s pair of scroll arms support a single light which is diffused through a small custom ivory silk shade. Professionally cleaned and wired for US use, using UL-listed components. Sold as a set. Circa 1850’s.
