Pair of 1950s glass & metal ceiling lamps attributed to Lisa Johansson-Pape. Executed in blown opaline glass, painted metal and chrome.
A contemporary of Paavo Tynell, the refined work of Lisa Johansson-Pape has made her an increasingly valued midcentury Finnish lighting designer.
Accommodates 1x standard medium base 100W equivalent LED. Rewired for US electrical with new period style ceiling plate for hardwiring over a standard American j-box. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Some scuffs, bends, dings and patination noted only for accuracy.
