Description An original Tiffany Studios Table Lamp, comprising an early example of the 20-inch diameter Arrowhead Shade, on a bronze Cattail and Pond Lily Table Base in dark brown patina.

The shade depicts a series of stylized tri-lobed Arrowhead leaves in rich green and white streaky glass, rising from thin green stems, interspersed throughout the central and lower register with clusters of flowers, each with three white petals articulated in either mottled or rippled Tiffany glass, with bright yellow rippled glass forming the flower centers. Behind the floral composition, a background of "foliage" glass, a rare type of glass developed by Tiffany Studios, formed by translucent glass with pink and pale green inclusions, while the crown of the shade depicts a sky shifting from deep blue tinged with green streaks to a soft pale blue. The lower edge features a geometric border in shades of blue, gold and green.

The Cattail and Pond Lily Table Base was one of the most sculptural bronze lamp bases designed by Tiffany Studios; it depicts a series of textural marshy grasses rising from a foot of chased lily pads and buds. When paired with the Arrowhead Shade, the lamp becomes a sculptural representation of the water's edge. Both the shade and base of this authentic Tiffany lamp are signed.
