Pair of 'Foglio' Wall Lights by Tobia Scarpa for Flos, Italy, 1966
-
Description
n 1966 Tobia Scarpa designed this model of wall lamp for Flos.
The line is extremely simple, but at the same time captivating, also for the way the light is projected on the wall.
Each lamp is fixed to the wall with a kind of rhombus-shaped brushed metal holder, on which the Flos brand is imprinted.
This metal support has been replaced over the years by a box in the same material as the shade /visible part of the lamp), further distancing the lamp itself from the wall.
The surface of the lamp is in brushed nickel: this material is no longer used: the company currently only offers models in shiny metal.
The metal part is in good condition, but shows some signs of wear, which are not to be considered a defect, but a peculiarity of a lamp that is approx. 50 years old.
The price does NOT include delivery duties. -
