Pair of Mid-Century Modernist Sconces by Venini, Designed by Tony Zuccheri
-
Description
This stunning pair of Mid-Century Modernist Sconces features handblown overlapping panels in shades of amber, honey, and topaz with an abundance of organic curves and textures. The panels are fastened together with simple rotund brass rivets that offer a stunning visual contrast to the complex forms, rippled surface, and variegated hues of the Murano glass. They were designed by the esteemed Tony Zuccheri and fastidiously crafted, by hand, in Venice, circa 1970. These would be a stunning addition to any room, and would match beautifully with any style of decor from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary. Newly rewired to American standards. Excellent condition.
