Toni Zuccheri, Set Of Five Glass Wall Lamps by Venini, Italy, 1971

$ 4,250
  • Description
    Toni Zuccheri (San Vito al Tagliamento, Italy, 1936-) attended the faculty of architecture in Venice under the guidance of Ignazio Gardella, Franco Albini and Carlo Scarpa.
    He began to work with VENINI in the 1960s: his first glass works were, following the family tradition (his father was a renowned painter and sculptor), animals made of polychrome glass with precious techniques, such as "murrine".
    In 1965 he began to collaborate with Gio Ponti, with whom he designed a new system of windows, the "Vetrate Grosse". Later, he expanded his glass production with new colors and subjects, participating in numerous exhibitions around the world.
    In 1970 he designed, amongst others, these patch-work Murano clear and amber glass sconces on flush mount fixtures.
    The sconces have one candelabra light each. Each sconce can mount up to five big glass squares and two additional small ones, however they can be arranged and combined in several different ways.
    We have 25 big squares (6 amber, 8 yellow, 11 multicolour) and 10 small (3 yellow, 7 multicolour).
    Pictures of the whole set are available on request.
    The price does not include delivery duties (DDP).
    Feel free to ask a quote for the transport.
