Exceptional and unusual French Directoire period trumeau mirror of monumental scale having original painted and parcel-giltwood frame with neoclassical and foliate ormolu appliqués in the forms of winged Mercury heads, wheat-sheaves, and flowering acanthus in cusped-arch Gothic fretwork; original mirror glass below with carved giltwood palmette partitions.
