French 19th Century Gold Gilt Mirror

This French 19th century gold gilt mirror was made for the G. Chavoutier house in Rouen, France in 1836. It has the original mirror plate with only slight aging. The mirror is rectangular and has a beautiful design that runs around three sides of the mirror. On the back of the mirror it reads “Miroiterie Dorure, Encadrement Rue Ganterie, 61,63, Rouen G. Chavoutier Maison Fondée en 1836”
