French 19th Century Painted & Gilt Trumeau
-
Description
This elegant trumeau from 19th century France elevates any space to the next level of sophistication. Its original mercury mirror place is surrounded by a molded gold gilt frame with carved floral crest details. A wonderful gilded relief carving of a swan/goose encompassed by a laurel wreath with a scrolling ribbon is centered atop the mirror. The worn grayish-blue painted panel beautifully compliments the gold gilt elements. A fantastic pantia envelopes the whole. Make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look!
