Description

Very fine George III giltwood mirror in the manner of John Linnell, the exceptionally carved frame of typical palm frond form, in this case successfully augmented with trailing interwoven vine, the plate encircled with acanthus leaf carved inner frame, retaining original mercury plate and rich original gilt surface.
