Hand Made Zebra Pattern Mirror Made of Eggshells by Maitland Smith
-
Description
Gorgeous hand made 1980s Maitland Smith mirror made of crushed eggshells applied by hand onto a wooden frame to create a Zebra Motif pattern reminiscent of the highly prized and sought after Art Deco period eggshell pieces by acclaimed designer Jean Dunnand. An incredible amount of hours of handwork by skilled artisans produced this one of a kind mirror. Eggshells are crushed, applied by hand to emulate a zebra hide pattern and then finished in clear lacquer to hold and set the eggshell. A beautiful piece that stands alone as a true work of art. Currently set to be hung vertically but may also be hung horizontally.
Wear consistent with age and use. Handmade and finished with crushed eggshells arranged in an organic zebra pattern, this Maitland Smith mirror is in great condition with no visible damage. - More Information
