Description
A beautiful 18th c. Louis XVI period armchair from northern Germany made of beech wood, hand scraped to the original paint and newly upholstered in linen fabric with nail head trim. Beautiful guilloché carved detail with rosettes on the corner posts raised on tapered and fluted round legs with splayed back legs, which is quite unusual.
