18th Century Swedish Gustavian Set of Six Original Paint Chairs from Stockholm

Description
A set of six Swedish dining chairs from the Gustavian period made in Stockholm. These beautiful, well-made chairs have been hand-scrapped to reveal the original paint surface. There is laurel leaf carved molding along the back and seat frame with rosettes on each corner post. The round, tapered legs are fluted with lotus blossom carvings at the top, circa 1800.
