1950s French Oakwood Armchair, Spindlework & Tenon Joint

Description
Found in France and likely from mid-century. this exceptional and unique armchair is produced with a high level of craftsmanship. Appears to be quarter-sewn oak with beautifully selected grain patterns in all aspects of the chair. Delicate spindle work to arms and angled/curved seat back, sculpted seat with sharp grain striation and flat-scrolled arms. The entire chair is constructed using tusk tenon joints and small pin wedges. Normal wear and small scratches. Can be lightly refinished upon request.
