Description
A pair of Moderne inlaid satin birch side chairs. Indistinctly stamped "…… Karlstad". Swedish, Karlstad, ca 1920. The distinctive hammered and nailed metal sabots, the inlaid rose motif in the splats and the abstracted Queen Anne vasiform splat, all fall within the tenets of early Swedish modernism.
