Description An iconic design by Adam Stegner who created several versions of this chair for manufacturer Flötotto in Gütersloh Germany - with a strategy for mass production that was used by schools throughout Europe starting in the mid-1950s. This chair has a Bauhaus vibe and an ergonomic seat that is shaped from resin soaked beech called pagwood or PAGHOLZ. Four oak legs are attached to a well-designed swivel made from hard-plastic and ball bearings that still works smoothly today. Some non-original screws.
Styles / Movements Bauhaus, Mid Century, Modern
