Soriana Two-Seat Sofa by Afra e Tobia Scarpa for Cassina - 1970's
-
Description
Afra & Tobia Scarpa, Soriana sofa, Cassina 1970s, new design Classic. Cassina 1970s, the Soriana collection was meant to express beauty and comfort by using a whole bundle of fabric held by a chrome-plated steel clamp. Original two stripe upholstery.
The "Soriana Chair" was the first piece designed in the collection and won the Compasso D'oro in 1969 for it's design. Would fit well in a more eclectic Hollywood Regency inspired interior as in a more monochromatic Minimalist Maria Pergay style decor. -
