Baroque Armchair in Giltwood and Black Velvet
-
Description
Beautiful armchair taken over by an elite Venetian bourgeois family, whose design is also an inspiration. The armchair is made of gilded wood in the mighty frame, with 4 supporting feet, each for each corner. The shapes are sinuous and eye-catching, echoing those typical of Baroque, very exuberant and pompous. The feet form very elegant curls.
Immediately above we find the armchair proper, with the seat consisting of a chunky, enveloping cushion in a beautiful black velvet. Of similar workmanship is the backrest, the peculiarity of which lies in the fact that it is slightly more relaxed than the others. In fact, this one is not straight and rigid, but more reclined, to provide the comfort typical of a queen. The edges of the backrest are crossed with golden wood that creates gentle curls, making it even more sinuous. Upholstered in very elegant black velvet.
The armchair is suitable for reading areas, vanity corners, as well as elegant bedrooms and living rooms. -
