Description For you consideration is a pair of vintage Charles Pollock for Knoll accent chairs.

These chairs are icons of Mid-Century Modern design and have been in continuous production by Knoll since their introduction in 1963. The architecture of the single aluminum band bordering the chair revolutionized seating, giving the chair an assertive yet elegant look.

These particular examples are hard-to-find pieces from the early production of the chair, as evidenced by the rouded-off chrome bases and the early "Art Metal Corp" label on the underside. Later models were reconfigured and utilized squared-off legs, as well as casters. These models are stationary they do not swivel or tilt and are not height adjustable.

The condition on this pair is good but not pristine. As you can see in the photos, there is some light wear in the leather, some scuffs on the hard plastic shells and slight wear in the metal. They show signs of age, but do present well.

Own a piece of design history.
