An exceptional set of eight French ladderback dining chairs in solid oak with handwoven rush seats, designed in the rustic modernist spirit of Charlotte Perriand, circa 1950. These chairs feature elegantly simple ladderback frames with turned legs, the front terminating in short turned feet, all joined by double/triple box stretchers, and overall warm, aged patina to the wood. The high ladderback supports add architectural presence, while the rush seats offer comfort and organic texture. Ideal for a country modern, minimalist, or alpine interior.
