Description
This is an extraordinarily rare pair of Edward Wormley-designed Oasis Sofas. These examples are the first edition of this form when Wormley initially began his tenure at Dunbar in the 1930s.
They are not only an important part of twentieth-century design history but are also extremely comfortable and quite elegant.
These are heirloom quality hand-built sofas crafted of solid hardwoods and professionally restored to the highest possible standard complete with new foam, reinforced frames, eight-way hand-tied springs, Italian boucle fabric, and refinished solid mahogany legs.
As rare as it gets. -
