Description | A magnificent piece of classical seating of ample proportions and fine detail. The couch frame is covered in beautiful burled walnut veneer and the arced arm supports are faced with stunning carved mahogany dolphins. The sofa is supported by a molded frieze with matchbook veneers rising upon spiderweb bracketed feet. The settee is upholstered in glossy charcoal horsehair fabric and comes with two cylinder bolster pillows. Northern Germany, circa 1825. | ||||||||||||
