Beautifully made “Barrel Tufted Desk Chair” model no 5400 with original gray leather on a mahogany base with brass castors by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, American, 1954. This iconic desk chair is extremely comfortable. It’s a luxurious design.

Dunbar Office Furniture Catalog published in the 1960’s, in the section “Swivel Chairs” there is a black and white photo of this model with the description, “(model) 5400…Barrel Tufted Chair”.
