Description
This original Eero Saarinen designed Womb chair and ottoman is upholstered in a light vanilla/putty colored leather. Both pieces retain their original Knoll Upholstery tags, dated April 14, 1978. This womb chair and ottoman are in beautiful condition and very comfortable. Eero Saarinen designed the Womb chair for Florence Knoll in 1948, a few years after he started working for Knoll. Eero Saarinen is considered to be one of the top designers of the second generation of American modernists.
